Alphonse A. Inclima, O.D.

Dr. Alphonse A. Inclima obtained his bachelor of science degree from the State University of New York and his Doctorate of Optometry from the Massacheusetts College of Optometry. He is one of the first Optometrists in the state of Connecticut to attain priveleges to treat and manage eye disease with medications.  He has attained a diplomate in glaucoma treatment from the State University of New York College of Optometry.  He is an active member of the Connecticut Association of Optometrists and has served as president of the organization and currently chairs the board of ethics committee.  Dr. Inclima is one of the only Optometrists in Connecticut trained in the area of gentle vision shaping / corneal shaping, the non-surgical method to correct nearsightedness.  He is also a graduate of the Gesell Institute of Child Development.

Dr. Christopher Inclima graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in science and mathematics in 1988 and from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1992.  He was one of the first optometrists in Connecticut to prescribe therapeutics for eye disease including Glaucoma.  He is one of the only optometrists in the state who is certified to correct nearsightedness and astigmatism with the non-surgical Gentle Vision Shaping / Corneal Reshaping System.  Dr. Chris is a member of the American and Connecticut Optometric Associations, the Board of Education and Services for the Blind, the ethics committee, the Medicare carrier advisory committee and the Rotary Club of West Haven.
